Do you have non-working detectors, discolored detectors or detectors that are over 10 years old? Smoke Detector Medic will expertly replace existing detectors or upgrade your detectors to a combination carbon monoxide/smoke detector.
When was the last time you cleaned your smoke detectors? Like most things, a clean smoke detector is a happy detector and more importantly, a clean detector is better suited to do its job and not give you a false alarm (or no alarm at all).
If you desire peace of mind throughout the year, then Smoke Detector Medic’s Service Agreement is for you. Under your annual contract, we will come out and inspect, clean, and replace the batteries in your detectors.

Originally from northern Minnesota, David is a eight-year professional firefighter with a southwest Florida fire department and previously enjoyed a 10-year career as a professional ice hockey player. Local Florida Everblades fans might recognize David’s name! David has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of North Dakota and enjoys golfing, fishing, coaching the local Junior Everblades hockey team and spending time with his family.

Christine is our Administrative Assistant since February 2021. Living in Florida permanently since 2016, she absolutely does not miss the New York snow! She began her career as a Special Education Teacher, then set her attention to administration. With many years administration experience: she has worked with Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson, Hudson Valley Hospital Center, South Florida Region Red Cross, as well as the 2020 Census. She has a strong commitment to customer services and is ready to answer your calls and schedule your appointment.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) recommends replacing smoke detectors after 10 years due to the small amout of radiation in each detector which causes the detector to lose 5-10% of its life.
